Tell us a little about yourself
Originally from the great India, I grew up in England and now call New Zealand home.
I hold a master’s degree in human resources and finance, wanted to become a lawyer. However, that did not happen so, I married one.
In my spare time, lucky if I get some – I like to watch some good dramatic movies.
Tell us about your career to date
After graduating from university, I started working for a large global immigration firm as a HR generalist.
I commenced my career in NZ with Kiwibank as a Banker and enjoyed every aspect of role.
What drew you to recruitment?
Being a natural persuader and someone who enjoys engaging with people I chose recruitment.
Moreover, recruitment is a blooming industry in NZ and develops you professionally and personally.
I have always been lucky to work with astute and innovative managers who always guide and upskill me.
Why is recruitment important to you?
Recruitment is all about connections, networking. A bad chapter or a bad day in recruitment does not mean end of the story.
Personally, helping people meet their materialistic needs in a legalised manner is satisfaction to me.
